Morning Veil
Description
Original painting · Sacred Stillness Collection · No. 2
There is a moment before the world wakes when silence has a colour. Not white, not grey — something cooler and softer than both. A blue so pale it barely exists, deepening only gently toward the water, as though the sky is still deciding whether to become day.
Morning Veil was painted in those hours. Through the arch, a single bird crosses an almost-still horizon. The water below mirrors the haze above. Everything is suspended — not waiting, not rushing. Simply present.
This piece does not ask anything of you. It only offers stillness.

Design
Each painting in the Sacred Stillness collection is built around the arch — not as decoration, but as a threshold between the noise of everyday life and a moment of stillness. Surrounding the arch, raised geometric patterns are sculpted by hand before painting begins, quietly inspired by traditional Islamic design. Within the arch, a soft, uncomplicated sky unfolds in layers of oil paint, suspended somewhere between sunrise and sunset. Small birds cross the space as quiet reminders of freedom and perspective. Every piece arrives in a custom gold floater frame, ready to hang.
Care
This is an original oil and sculptural mixed media painting, made to last for generations with proper care.
— Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat or humidity to preserve colour and texture.
— Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid cleaning products, water, or solvents on the painted or textured surface.
— Handle by the frame, not the canvas, when moving or hanging.
— Hang using appropriate hardware for the piece's weight — happy to advise on this per painting if needed.
— Avoid hanging near vents, radiators, or areas with fluctuating temperature.
